CREATIVE PROCESS
Without fail, my creative practice has been my constant through all of life’s triumphs and tragedies.
My usual army of muses are war, mythology and its symbolism, my / our ancestors, and human behavior. These inform my insights, impulses, and visuals.
Every piece of art that I have made revolves around contemplation of life itself, the choices we make, and the legacy we leave behind.
When I travel to research my history projects, I gather items such as vintage photographs and fabrics to combine with my own extensive photographic and document archive. They journey home with me and become new versions of themselves in my studio.
