I have visited the majestic city of Prague no less than ten times.

Sweeping wide through Bohemia and Moravia, I have encountered history in its finest and most tragic hours.

Below are photographs of Prague, sites related to Operation Anthropoid, Lidice, Terezín or Theresiendstadt, and an afternoon spent with a survivor of the horrors of this time, Helga. She lived through Terezín, Auschwitz, Freiberg, and Mauthausen, and generously shared her story with me.

The upper selection of imagery is from my journey of January 2018, written about extensively in my book The In Between.

The lower selection is compiled from various other trips.
