I am super excited to return to Europe later this month. After teaching at my sold-out Glastonbury, UK retreat, I’m heading to Dalen, Netherlands, to meet students for two full days of my Inner Space workshop on March 28 and 29, 2017.
We will be gathering with the intention of quieting down and withdrawing your focus from the hectic outer spaces of our world, and bringing your focus to experiencing expansive inner peace through your artmaking.
Dalen is an ideal place to do just that… to leave the hectic outer spaces of your world. It’s a sweet little village that’s seen a lot of history, including dust ups between Russian Cossacks and Napoleonic soldiers. Today it’s a place blissfully free of conflict, and free of distraction in a lot of ways. That’s a place we could all use sometimes, right?
I am excited to see our accommodations at Kozakkenhoeve, an 18th-century farmhouse that’s one of the oldest structures in town. Thatched roofs, original bricks, a quiet garden and spaces to rest and sit and just be. From our farmhouse it’s an easy walk to Main Street and the restaurant Baander, where our workspace awaits.
Here in this workspace is where your expansive inner peace will manifest itself.
As we work I will share mixed media techniques and guide you throughout your process. It’s important to know that I do not guide workshops on technique alone, nor do I teach you to make art that looks like mine. I guide workshops with an open heart and high intention to hold a space for you to find your unique, authentic expression.
This workshop is for you, by you, and totally about you letting go of what’s “out there”. You will have my full attention and plenty of one on one time to help you get where you know you’re meant to go through your creativity.
Most of all this workshop is a safe, warm, and freeing environment where you get to bring all that you are and watch magic unfold from your own fingertips.
