I'm Erin. Whirling dervish artist, research junkie, student of human behavior, and wanderlust-er extraordinaire. I believe that personal transformation, understanding our true essence, integrating our shadow / unconscious, and plunging endlessly into beauty, truth, unity, and knowledge will heal the world.
I teach art and self-transformation through mythology, archetypes, and the wisdom of our collective history.
I mentor creatives who want to develop their craft, listen their soul, and crave freedom of expression.
My world is a glorious, evocative, and sometimes intense intersection where shadow and beauty collide and weave themselves together. For the last decade my passion has been given to cultivating a heart and soul based creative + coaching practice. I have created and hosted sold out retreats, workshops, and online courses, inspiring creatives all over the world. My art classes are all based on psychological development with a robust dash of my esoteric toolbox.
In art and in life, I choose to dive in to the places a lot of people avoid.
I work it, plain and simple.
I tame those dark places, and express them in my art, filmmaking, and writing. I bring out their beauty.
Here's a little taste of what I'm talking about:
I spent the last five years deeply diving into the underworld of the humans who lived through World War Two. Through gut-busting on the ground research, an unstoppable thirst for knowledge, and a sturdy ability to walk in other people's shoes, I churned out a massive body of work that speaks to the power of the human spirit ... and to the detriments that can pull us under if we aren't embodied, empowered, and emboldened as humans can be.
I created a book about it.
In fact, I've brought two whole books into the world: The In Between, about my journeys through World War Two, and The Underneath, which is my visual memoir. Both are powerful, colorful compilations of mixed media art, photographs, and my journal-style writings. I've been told they've changed lives.
In a previous body of work, my insatiable curiosity and obsessive streak were given to fully embodying the mysterious and often painful realm of female experience. I didn't hesitate to dive in to the places where the goblins lurk, because I know the truth: that's where liberation lives.
My quest to understand the deep, intricate layers of the feminine led me through a doorway of curiosity about cultural inheritance and my own DNA. From there, I moved into the intoxicating realm of my ancestors, and didn't stop reaching for answers until I had filled out nearly every branch of my once bare-branched family tree a few years later.
That's me in a nutshell.
Erin is a master storyteller who weaves magic with her raw words and art. She is a brilliant alchemist who is able to see the astounding beauty and deep darkness in all things, and she melds them together into new vision. Erin is a gifted teacher who leads you into your own self-discoveries through her wealth of talent and examples.
When you take part in one of her workshops you are immersed in a new way of doing, and a new way of being. Boundaries are pushed, layers are peeled back. Thoughts, ideas and emotions are exposed; and your own wild, inspirational creative freedom is the payoff.
Every creative soul striving to go deeper should give themselves this gift ... you won’t be sorry.

Much of life is messy, not clearly defined and leaves many of us scrambling for the “reboot” key or an instruction manual. So much of our humanity is bound up in our stories – those fairy tales we’ve longed to become realities, those stories we’ve made up and believe are our truths, and those stories that have been handed down through generations or assigned to us by others.
Erin is a gifted author, artist, teacher, and excavator of stories. She has helped many women unravel the stories of their histories to get at the truths these tales tell.
Raw, vulnerable and intuitive, Erin leads her classes by example and guides attendees gently down rabbit holes to collect the fragments of their personal histories. Once found and illumined by a fresh perspective, these old narratives can be rewritten from a place of strength, compassion and love.
